The West Metro Fire Rescue Foundation was incorporated in 1995 as a public, nonprofit foundation in order to promote life safety through community leadership, education and financial assistance in support of fire safety education programs. The Foundation funds West Metro Fire Rescue’s community education programs.  Our current funding efforts include wildfire safety awareness and the promotion of PulsePoint Respond and AED apps.  In addition, we are raising funds to build a fire station museum at Lakewood Heritage Center.
